Studio opening times 🎄

We will be taking our Christmas break from the 20th Dec 2025 and reopening on Monday the 5th of Jan.

Wedding dress repurpose

Our bride knew that she wanted to be able to wear her wedding dress again and again.
After her big day we were able to achieve this by removing the train and shorten the dress to a more suitable length.
We also adjusted the strap to sit on the shoulder.
No dyeing needed this time, as Dior by Madi Lane comes in this beautiful subtle gold.

Before we started the repurposing alterations, we arrange a wedding dress clean with our trusted specialists @boxedbridal .

One of the reasons why lace dresses cost more to alter than a plain one, is often there is a lace trim that needs to be removed and then reapplied.
In the photo you can see just one dress worth of lace to be stitched back onto the hem.
